The Rangers, coming off a win over Toronto, now must step up their game to have a shot against the NJ Devils in their first tilt of the season, a mid-afternoon ABC special affair. The NYR have improved to 3-5-2 in their last ten while the Devils are 4-6-0, but with three straight wins including a S/O over TOR.
Quick (4-14-2, 3.10 GAA, 0.890 SV%) is expected in net against Markstrom (18-14-1, 3.05 GAA, 0.888 SV%). The lineup today is a bit of speculation. Raddysh is likely to miss the game due to family needs. Carrick has been traded, Trocheck has not. We figure Parssinen will get the call to replace Raddysh but it could go to newly acquired forward Thompson if he has not been told to report directly to Hartford.
The refs today are Frederick L’Ecuyer (1161 GP) and Kendrick Nicholson (722 GP) – both tend to look more kindly on the home team.

When the rangers come out tied after their best period, it’s almost a guaranteed loss.
Somebody must have paid off the rangers to throw the game. This is even worse as, far as giveaways go, than they normally are and that bar is LOW.

Jack Hughes has one playoff series win in his career. 5 of 6 seasons with no playoffs and the only win was the Rangers choke job.

Yeah Fox played. Throwing the puck to the middle of the ice wishing one of his players gets it and a devil scores. The only thing we missed was the camera shot of Fox slowly skating back and then throwing his head back when the other team scores. I cant tell you how many times I have watched that reaction from him and how much it pisses me off.

The Raddysh brothers making their dad proud continuing what he loved watching them do. Dissapointed ESPN didn’t mention Raddysh losing his dad and still being in the lineup. Unless I missed it.
