The Rangers try to extend their winning streak to two games tonight at MSG against the Blue Jackets. BJ’s have been pretty good lately, 7-2-1, but have dropped their last two including an OT/L to the NYI. The Rangers with the recent win are 2-7-1.
Shesterkin (18-12-5, 2.45 GAA, 0.913 SV%) is expected in net again tonight against Elvis (11-9-1, 3.47 GAA, 0.887 SV%). The BJ’s are mostly healthy though they may have one game time decision. The Rangers will put Iorio back in and Prucha Morrow along with Vaakanainen and Brodzinski.
The refs today are Morgan MacPhee (89 GP) and Wes McCauley (1494 GP) 😱🤢

Were they all bad? I mean, he is consistently giving up goals where he isn’t square to the shooter and giving them lots to shoot at. Especially on odd-man rushes.

Great story – Trocheck said he talked to his kids about being traded to prepare them. His son, who is 7, had a legendary response: Trocheck said:

I am almost excited about Perreault. A little stronger and a bit faste, who knows where he goes?

Wes giving sully a bench minor to make it 2-0 was a pissing match. Wes making it about him. When he was wrong for allowing away team to have last change!
Then Toronto overturning rangers goal on minimal interference that was more incidental by laughy who was not in the blue paint and also got nudged by the defender putting him just close enough for the air kiss on the helmet. Maloney was very critical of the call. For the tank I didn’t mind it cause BJ scored a shorty to make it 3-0 instead of 2-1
Holy cow. When I turned it off I thought We would lose 7-2. Goodthing I don’t bet draft kings like MSG wants us to in game.
Draft Kings tries to keep it interesting, which the Rangers don’t always do. Let’s hope Perrault is finding his footing.
Perrault, Laba and Robertson is all we get out of this season.
You know what stinks about rooting for the Rangers to tank? When it was 2 and 3 and 4 to nothing I was OK with them playing like crap. After they scored the 3rd goal the “Fan” in me kicked in I was getting excited for the team I have been cheering on for over 60 years. When they tied it I was yelling like I really cared.
Then in OT it was the same old Igor.
All I can say is;it ain’t easy being a Ranger fan.

It’s ok. so Drury didn’t Trade Trocheck. Sometimes the best deal you make is no deal at all. Why should Drury take less. I think he did the right thing. We have a lot of prospects that may turn out better than we thought. We’ll be fine; Lets just figure a way to get rid of Miller; man that was a bad move. Hate to say it but Drury did the right thing.
