NY Rangers (26-30-8) vs Winnipeg Jets (26-27-10)

• TV: MSG, TSN3 •
The Rangers travel to Winnipeg for a tilt tonight against the Jets, a battle of 0.469 vs 0.492. However, the Rangers have shown some signs of life the past two weeks and are now 4-4-2 in their last ten. The Jets are 5-2-3, having just dropped one to the Ducks after winning three in a row. The Jets are only five points out of WC2 in the West but with four teams in front of them.
Shesterkin (20-12-6, 2.49 GAA, 0.913 SV%) expected in net tonight against Hellebuyck (16-17-9, 2.74 GAA, 0.902 SV%). The Rangers may have a few lineup changes and at this early writing it is uncertain if the morning praccy lines will be the game time lines so ymmv. Miller skated this morning and looks close to return but will not play. Raddysh returned from personal issues and also skated. As was seen in the last game, Borgen looks to have been demoted to the third pair with Vaakanainen and Robertson/Schneider becoming the second pairing. Edstrom practiced as LW2 but that may have just been a place holder. Berard was sent back to Hartford.
The refs today are not yet known.
