NY Rangers (25-30-8) vs Calgary Flames (25-31-7)
• 10 March 2026 19:00 EDT
• MSG, NYC
• TV: MSG, SNW •
The Rangers, fresh off thrashing the Flyers, attempt to snuff out the Flames in a tilt at the Garden tonight. Both teams have had nearly identically disappointing seasons, but sometimes the most competitive games are between otherwise uncompetitive teams!
The Flames, like the Rangers, don’t have a very good last ten: 4-5-1 (vs 3-5-2), though three of their wins were in the earlier five while the NYR wins are in the most recent five. 🤷♂️. One aspect to watch is the PP: NYR ranked #8 at the moment while CGY PK is likewise ranked #8.
Quick (4-15-2, 3.20 GAA, 0.888 SV%) may be in net against Wolf (18-23-3, 3.00 GAA, 0.898 SV%). The lineup today may have a few changes – Raddysh is attending to family duties, Brisson was put on the bus to Hartford after Berard got off. No confirmation at this time but expecting Berard in and Brodzinski back to chateau bow-wow. Likewise, nobody seems to know what the rotation will be with Iorio and Vaakanainen (who played last night).
The refs today are not yet announced as of 16:40 EDT.
On this date in history: In 1968, former NYR GM Glen Sather tallied the 7,000th goal in Boston Bruin franchise history.

Sheary update?
Still married to Coach Sullivan’s niece
FIRE SATHER!
I Like the back up announcing team better the the 1st String of Kenny & Dave – just sayin
They are 0-8 on the back end of back to backs. I’m confident of a loss.
Unlike yesterday’s game, this one is a boring shiit…
Expecting an inspiring battle for 31st place?

Is this LAG a tease or is he finding his game?
LAF
tickets for this game were ~$50. Not much of a draw.
“LAG” still fits, ORF.
I guess now that Panarin is gone Busto decided to play hockey. Or are in the Twilight Zone?
Rangers play better when it no longer counts.
I know you guys love a good bench-clearing brawl. Thank me later.
Sherry darling is on fire
I give up!
Kartye was a nice pick up …finishes checks..some speed
Purro looking good
Sick pass
Who’s gonna score now that Krusty is gone?
Who is the announcing B team? What happened to Boyle?
Alex Faust, Beezle — radio play by play guy.
Anyone seen Gravy? He’s missed out on a ton of woots
Gravy out looking for Coos
Where was the penalty?
Drury should bring back Vesey. He was dying in the press box last year, what has he been up to lately? Could probably help get the tank back on track.
Maybe the call was by Liam Maaskant – 24 career games
Only thing left is a Quick shutout.
superduper save
That was a make a wish pass that was granted 🤣
Perrault can dish it
Is Robertson-Schneider the new second pair?
Stick Salute, Mama!
I always knew Lafren is a clutch performer who shows up for big games!
Well how about that? Let’s see how this top line does against better competition.
I know we are all rooting for the tank, but you have to admit it is very nice to see them smile so much.
Alex Faust / Brian Boyle need to move up to the A team!
Hope Laffy and Coolio both get 20
Coos update?
Am I in bizzaro world?
Per-O = Future beast
Watching Perrault a few times at BC he had vision similar to Panarin. He makes some passes that only he sees. There will be SMH wish passes occasionally. He needs to get faster and stronger over the Summer.
“Alex Faust / Brian Boyle need to move up to the A team!”
Alex Faust is a keeper, for sure. Boyle needs a bit more seasoning, but I’ll take him over Maloney any day.
Boyle sounds too mellow -like he is stoned.
The kids might be alright, after all.
Nice watching them not giving up but each win pushes them farther away from the #1 pick.
Ohh don’t you worry there’s no real plan and this is just the beginning of the bottoming process!
Boyle also seems to be treading carefully lest he upset NYR management.
When Sheary scored into a wide open net I thought “Oh no extension.” It appears climbing out of the cellar is inevitable. But if it means Busto keeps this up I can live with that.
Record with JT Miller out of the lineup?
JT will be back soon, and they will go back to not celebrating goals.
Perreault Zibanejad Miller? Thank you Sullivan.
Don’t break up the first line. It has finally delivered LAF’s abilities. Don’t change PP1 either. It ain’t broke. Don’t fix it.
