The Rangers play the second half of a back to back, this time against the Vancouver Canucks who remain without former NYR Chytil (IR noggin). After another distasteful loss at home vs the Ducks last night, expect the Garden faithful to be on edge and have their boos at the ready if the Rangers stumble out of the gate. The Canucks are 3-6-1 in their last ten with a win against NJD in their most recent game. The Rangers continue to bounce around .500 with a 5-3-2 record.

The Canucks injured list includes Elias Pettersson (upper body), Filip Chytil (concussion protocol), Teddy Blueger (lower body), Derek Forbort (undisclosed).

I spent $120 for the Kreider homecoming. We spent that to go to the theater tonight. A better use of the money.
Watching it in person makes it obvious how slow they are. There’s no one who has the speed to make a D backup. No one the other team fears or has to plan to defend. They are always playing not to lose.

That was quite the post game by Valley and Hank. I wonder if we will see them again. Tonights post game tells you all you need to know about this team. Many more losses coming. Can only hope that Drury will be the second GM fired mid season.

They basically called them out for losing to the last place team in the NHL for the third time this season. Also said the players looked like they just wanted it to be over in 3rd period. Basically quit with 10 minutes left. Called out Zbad and Laffy. Said they made it easy on Demko.
JT Miller post game is just – blah,blah,blah,blah blah. JUST SHUT UP AND PUT UP FOR A CHANGE!!!!! That was a bad trade from day 1 and looks much worse now.
JT Miller was a bad trade twice and the Rangers lost both times. That takes a special kind of incompetence that only seems to exist at MSG.
This is about the time last year when things went off the rails. It could unravel quickly.
The report that Drury seriously pursued Q Hughes is an indication he has no idea what he is doing. He was prepared to give the few assets he has to add a second small offense first D to his backline. Hughes plays less D than Fox , but at least he can skate. He is also moving QH to NY for him to move across the Hudson to play with his brothers in 2027. It was Sather chasing the shiny object all over again.
