No one is running him out the door, he’s not getting traded any time soon if at all, he’s the easiest of the higher contracts to replace in house based on skill level and position, he has a nmc, rangers are going to have some tough cap decisions at some point beyond strome. Kreider has been a good ranger (great is fine too if that’s how you feel) that will still be a good ranger (or great) when he’s no longer a ranger whenever and however that happens.

That idiot in the ECHL plays for Jacksonville, the Rangers ECHL affiliate. I don’t believe he is Rangers property. At this point in our world, that nonsense should never, ever happen and somehow, the leagues need to grow some onions and deal with these incidents appropriately.

The very fact that he felt he could give Fox the business like that is evidence that the threat of retaliation by the Rangers is not taken seriously. There has to be a deterrent and it can’t be a paper tiger.
Regarding fox…I love people are calling Kreider one of the vet leaders on the team (which he is) but in the next sentence say “why should kreider do anything, Lindgren was closer”

And yes, fwiw Lindgren was closer and did engage to a certain degree but was grabbed by two guys…I mentioned at the time on the thread Kreider needed to pull a Rupp on larsson (a 24/7 delzotto mugging reference) but he chose to give him a talking to and threatened him with his purse…which is fine and I’m sure Kreider will give him the business at some point.
Not my preferred approach in that instance, not only from Kreider but the team as a whole, but that is how it played out…nothing happened.
It reminded me a bit of the girardi gaborik Carrillo incident (I’m fully aware of the the fight aspect of the gaborik incident).
A non response that bothered girardi for a long time afterwards he said in a pod.

Wicky I don’t recall Kakko being checked for concussion at any time in recent games. If it is that and it was missed, that would be a bad reflection on medical staff given league wide attention to the issue.
we’ve spent far more time on this topic than anyone on the rangers did, fox including. Was a dirty play, but not deserving of a major or suspension.
