The winner gets two tickets to the Sunday, December 12th game against Predators at MSG. Tickets are in 200 level, lower corner, Rangers shoot twice. The contest starts now, and will go until Go Time post at 6:30 pm
Just remember, I will need your valid email address to transfer them to you if you win.
Some rules.
1. Same as always. I don’t have time to go through hundreds of posts, and check IP addresses for double entries. So if you never posted on Rangers Report 2 ( since Doodie took over), your entry won’t count. Apologies in advance, but that’s the only way to avoid spending too much time judging this contest.
2. This one is easy.
– Pick the score. It has to be exact. Not closest. Not margin of victory
– First tiebreaker: Game winning goal
– Second tiebreaker: Rangers’ shots. This one can be the closest, but WITHOUT GOING OVER
– Third tiebreaker: Sharks’ shots. Again, it can be the closest, but WITHOUT GOING OVER
3. Can you, bozos, PLEASE copy and paste my entry and make your own changes? It’s just so much easier for me to score it. Last time some of you still managed to do it your own way.

Dec 8 – Colorado home
Dec 10 – at Buffalo
Dec 14 at Colorado.
who does this scheduling – Alfred E. Neuman?
The only gm yzerman ever fleeced was Gorton and yzerman was/is overrated as a gm. It is no coincidence Tampa won the cup after Brisebois started running things.
Hedgehog Ha Ha Ha!
Wicky how can you even focus on any of that when Tony D is playing so well for Carolina?!
Tony willing to give Miller his first goal puck for $20,000 plus shipping.

ilb’d! Reposting…
With the talk by some of dealing Miller, isn’t it too early to give up on a player w/ so much potential? He’s young, big, skates very well and hasn’t been playing the position his whole “career”. It’s a fact that D men take longer to develop. I think it would be a long line of teams that would be interested.

Good. Trayed (sic) him and his ‘big stick.’ Hasn’t taken the body since college and not much of it there either and always wandering out of position.
How bad is this odd organization and why is he up here if they have to train him daily and nightly for years to be come an adequate defenseman in Madison Square Garden on a Cup contender? Send him down or send him away!
James
I don’t give a rats aasen about deangelo…a former ranger who was a third pair d man. He wasn’t as good as fox on the power play and the rangers couldn’t give him away because he is quite the d bag as a person (not just with the rangers but with 2 other nhl organizations) so I literally couldn’t give 2 💩💩 about his hockey playing or his current team.
They said similar about Avery and JT Miller.
The guy has proven himself to be a consistent offensive force in the top league in the world.
The Rangers couldn’t give Tony D away because of the cap and the fact they tanked his value to protect an overpaid, over-sensitive, back up goalie who is weakest link on the current roster
Bit of a misnomer…not all d men take “longer” to develop.
Offencive d men do NOT take long to develop, their style and “method” are there quickly.
The only d men that take time to develop are the stay at home d men that rely on their positioning and d zone prowess to keep their nhl jobs. It takes time to get that level of defencive play developed.
I would submit my prediction, since I was so close to winning last time, but I am going to the Hartford game on that same day. I was actually hoping Barron wouldn’t be recalled so I could watch him there from the 6th row.
Gorton absolutely mismanaged the asset in deangelo.
That said, he was a throw in in the raanta deal and the cap isn’t an excuse for lack of interest because plenty of teams can move a contract for a contract.
People whine and cry about deangelo now because of his off ice “stuff” from one side of the spectrum or the other.
I couldn’t care less about him or any of that off ice 💩.
That’s all I’m going to say about it and him because he isn’t worth the rabbit hole it will lead down from every side of the spectrum. Too much time has been spent on him already and there are a few folks here that are just chomping at the bit to go down that rabbit hole for no other reason than to be disruptive and soap box their agenda.
I really hope they cancel the nhl players participation in the Olympics.
I’d rather have nhl hockey while the Olympics are going on instead of nhl players playing Olympic hockey and no nhl games.

Coos, I have a question. What does the “(sic)” literally mean? I understand why it is used, but is “sic” short for something? I honestly don’t know.

If KAM was a forward for most of his career, why was he switched to “D”, and why don’t we just use him where he may be more comfortable, as a forward? As for Tony D- Forget him. He’s gone.
My agenda is that the Rangers could be even stronger this season if they managed the Deangelo situation better either by moving him for an asset or keeping him on the 3rd pair while the young Dmen develop.
Bobbyo
Feel free to look back at my opinion of the hedgehog mismanagement of the Deangelo situation when it happened anytime you like, it’s there.
If the agenda comment didn’t apply to you feel free to move on from that as well.
He’s no longer a ranger, so once again…feel free to move on from that too!!!
Let’s talk about the Brian leetch return or the Chris Simon return next, how does that sound? 🙄
I get the impression from gortons press conference he wants to talk pat brisson into making the switch Leon rose did.
Probably has as good a pulse via his web of sources for which teens are trending towards legit draftee through his years of recruiting clients as anyone in the canadien junior/youth market.
Mention it not to bring up gorton. But to suggest I think Brisson is his top choice but that unless brisson decides to put someone else in charge of his agent empire while he gives this a crack, gorton will hire briere in the end

The days of ballsy signings in the Bergevin era are long gone now.
Time to make some calls, take some calls, deck the halls, eat a veal parmigiana sandwich….
Jake DeBrusk could be the next change of scenery prize for some GM
I love that cracking a joke about how too many of you guys dwell on ex Rangers and other teams leads to more talk about those ex players not being here😁
At least no one is crying over the spilt milk that is Kevin Hayes this year.
(Not that I enjoy seeing him struggle)
James
Yeah, you may indeed be correct on debrusk. He’s going to be worth taking a chance on in a deal for someone.
I’d like to see a bit more of the edge his dad played with in his game. I wonder if that’s what part of the problem is with him and the bruins, they are looking for that and he doesn’t show it enough.
Speaking of drafting issues, how about that 3 pick run for the bruins?! Yuck.
The one gorton move that bothers me and the only one I was ever shocked by was JT Miller being added to the mcdonagh deal and point or sergachev not being added to it.
People claim that was delusional to have hoped for. But I say look at what mcdonagh and Miller have done.
They damn well should have gotten sergachev for the Miller add on or he should still be here and we wouldn’t be comtemplating trading 3 pieces for him today
The loss of Miller over what in the end to me still feels like an FU reaction by gorts to Miller being pissed at the letter and the decision to trade Mac and (had hoped) zucc and maybe even Hank.
What if the letter was really meant to see how Hank would react and if he’d want to waive at that deadline?
But I digress. Miller.
The edge always plays Miller trade down as a mistake. Saying it took Miller being traded twice and who knew if he’d become the player he is if he hadn’t had those slights of being shipped out and that strome and how we got him is an even trade off.
I don’t buy it for💩. Putting Miller in the mcdonagh deal without sergrschev or point was nutso
James
Sorry, I was just replying to your post to me. I forgot not to do that 😉
That’s ridiculous. Miller had back to back to back career highs in his final three seasons as a Ranger (including the one he was traded in).
His trajectory was due north. Gorton panicked because he was going to have to pay him. Instead he gave similar money to spooner and Namestnikov. But he picked Kakko and Laffy with the 2OA and 1OA. So you know…he’s brilliant. Ask Carpi 😉
Lol not you Wicky
Carpi deeum?

I know 😘

All UFA.
Unless strome is signing a team friendly deal. I say they self rent him and see what the UFA market and his market looks like before inking him.
Any of you chucklefaces use online betting sites (not trying to pry into your personal lives)? Any particular ones you guys prefer over others?

Honestly James. I think gorton did to Miller what dolan did to him.

Wicky.
I don’t have the funds to do this. But I’ve gotten the feeling that if you got some money to spread around that you should take advantage of each site or apps 1st time promotion where they were match or give free credit up to a $1000.
Plus then with a couple accounts set us, it makes hedge betting easier.
I have yet to start betting but the more I hear these spittin chiclets chuckle faces and their boy murls giving examples of easy money they made off obvious hockey bets. There is money to be made off your hockey knowledge. It seems like the real action for using your hockey smarts to make money is in game betting and using your knowledge of the tide of a game to pick up smart bets.
It’s just all about wrapping your head about all the bets can be made. In the last month of so sometimes I just look at the all bets and refresh it during the games to begin getting a feel for what hockey flow and game tide bets there own and more importantly where to find them or how to bring them up on an app. Dialing in how to place these kinds of bets by finding the place on a app or site to make that kind of bet.
But there’s definitely money to be made if you know your good at having a feel for what’s coming next.
Anyone making a living doing this that wants to teach me how to fish in this respect. Let me know.
no wick we need to talk about the JT Miller return!
Kaaaaaakoooooooo…..!
Those numbers include the women folk. Among men, its Aussies (29.6), USA (25.9), Finland (25.2), UK (24.2), Denmark (24.1)
Interestingly, among men the French and Kiwis drank the most often – 138 days followed by Dutch (121) Hungarians (120) and Austrians (116). US men drank average 90 days a year meaning we get well hammered when we do drink! UK women equal the men at 108 in case you are looking for a Special Pubpartner 😉
Notable missing in action: Norwegians. Perhaps too hammered to fill out the survey?

Oh jeez. You want to hear another miss for gorts and us. Ryan Hartman of the ‘he’s missing in the woods and can’t be reached’ legend. Available as a UFA that summer. Signs with Minnesota. Been good for them.
Just heard on the intro to the marek show. 15 goals this season. 1 behind kreider.
There’s our 3c and dare I say with those numbers this year 2C?
Missed as a UFA coming off some odd apple to the hockey world moments.
This contest sucks, btw.
Was that Gorton or Peter Sellers or Steve Martin?
Pollo vue fransay?
The average Australian consumed alcohol to the point of drunkenness nearly 27 times last year. Denmark and Finland followed closely behind Australia with residents in each nation getting drunk around 24 times in 2020.
