To this new post. Brooks had an article today about the coaching decision and how Drury could be waiting to see what happens with Brind’amour , Cassidy and Maurice after the second round.
Haven’t found a credible source but one of the “other” blogs mentioned that a “sauce” claimed Drury would move the first rounder this year. I think that’s more just common sense than speculation.

Alex, I agree with you 100%. I might have to leave Facebook altogether.
We use words like playable toughness and grit and all that.
But as I was telling my dad 2 nights ago. What Lou does. He brings in

And he’s got 4 lines that all play that way and it’s too much to handle in a playoff series, game after game.

Say what you will, the only team to have beaten them in the past two playoffs so far is the team that won the cup last year.
This year it’s either gonna be Tampa, Vegas, Colorado, or a Montreal team that’s playing a lot like the isles right now.
On the other hand,
Two years in a row. If it weren’t for the season ending early, they might not have even gotten in.
Both years they were getting taxed and couldn’t play the way they do in the playoffs by the 3/4 way. Both years the season ended early and they squeezed in
What does that mean. You got to be able to win games in the regular season without exacting that toll on your team BUT your team needs to show up like the isles show up in the playoffs, in every big game during the season.
Those tough emotional reagular season games, you gotta play the way the isles do in the playoffs, that way when the playoff starts and we’re in it,
WE KNOW WHAT IT MEANS TO PLAY THE RIGGT WAY. Playing the right way in big hockey games, in 7 game playoff series, is exactly the way the isles play.
