I am going to say this. This team, at the very least, is as good as Flyers. At the very least. This game is as important as it gets. And the one after that. If they continue to stay strong mentally, both games are winnable. And their veterans have to step in if it gets tough. Though most of their veterans are still very young.

Hank in? I think they stick with Georgie. I don’t see Hank as a solution. There weren’t lots of bad goals. This was a turnover fest by the Rangers. And it wasn’t the Flyer forecheck. It was unforced sloppy errors and they all made them.
3rd game in 4 nights. lose Kreider early in the game. Flyers kick their ass and have 3more wins than them now. Rangers have won 3 more games in regulation by the way.

I think they’ll win Sunday. But the fact of the matter is that the quality of opponent is increasing and most teams in the East are playing desperate hockey at the moment.

I left the house after Marc Staal decided to donate the puck to the Flyers at his own blue line and the puck ended up in the net. It always amazes me how players, not just Marc make dumb turnovers at blue lines instead of dumping the puck deep. On another subject……looked like The Orange Crud we’re running at Fox while Inwas watching. Have to do something about that.

My father said you mentioned us re: isles. I still think they’re winning the cup. Caps and pens have been garbage lately so isles will pass them soon.
The Islanders are winning the Cup? In an alternate universe, perhaps.
Flyers don’t really bother me. I’d rather not see them win a Cup, but it wouldn’t be as terribly horrid as say the Islanders winning.

Old coach/ old player/ rival fans don’t like
Both games i saw the rangers get frantic after philly get a goal and start trying to do too much and stickhandle and do everything solo. And I watched philly hawk and take advantage of that and turn a one goal lead into a 2 goal lead, a 3 goal lead.
Know it was the back end of back to back and Kreider goes down. But I’m saying it again, philly is not better then the rangers. They are more experienced up front.

Last night was much more after the deflatation of losing Kreider when they were closing out a calendar week in which they played big games against the ‘canes and isles and had two games they had to make comebacks in the 3rd period, then it was being outclassed by philly.
Leading into last nights game, you kinda like philly was sitting there waiting for days to pop the Rangers balloon.
That’s I wanted to give philly bulletin board material, bc I wanted the rangers knowing they were gonna be in a dogfight leading in to it. Wanted some knowing they had a team gunning to take them down.
Now they’ve got a who has beaten them twice 5-2 and probably feels like they’ve got there number. This last era of rangers teams played their best games after their worst games. Stop the bleeding. Go back to the formula. 5man Defense, puck possession, zone time, out work and battle them. Smell the net.
Take that day off. Realize we’re exactly where we want to be. We want this opportunity. Underdogs again?

wow!! Got home late, turned game on, it was 5-1 philly, turned game off. Reading post on here this morning find out Kreider is hurt, research injury, fractured foot. That means Kreider is done for the season, rangers are done for the season. It was a nice run and fun to watch while it lasted.
They’ve won when he does his vanishing act so can win without him. Just means someone has to step up. Don’t think that’s Pepe jr. Kravtsov probably going to get a chance
