Rangers (16-11-2) vs Dallas Stars ( 16-13-1). TV-MSG
After playing four in a row against their Metropolitan Division rivals ( 3-1, in case you didn’t know 🙂 ), the Rangers will host one of the Western Conference teams. It should be a low profile game. Except this: every point is crucial. And also except this: I’m sure there is an added value to this game ( read- a few thousand bucks) since this is the first time Lindy Ruff is coaching against the Stars after spending four years behind the bench in Dallas.
Mika Zibanejad appears to be feeling better as he skated on his own for a few times. No timetable for his return though.

One of these days someone is going to coach the Rangers on the correct way to play 3 on 3 and that it’s ALL about possession. The dumbest overtimes I’ve ever seen have all been the Rangers’. Amd I’ve watched a lot. I’m a Panthers season ticket holder after all.

Btw when is Bazooka How gonna get his act together and put Nasher back in the shootout earlier? If I’m correct Zucc, Nash and Vesey are the only Rangers to score goals in the shootout this year and the latter two have only gone once each this season.
They had more shots in OT than either of the first 2 periods. Ruminate on that for a while.
Only thing worse than watching a shootout is watching the players that AV picks to participate after Zuc.
