I grow fatigued watching Panarin. How much longer before he’s gone is how long it may take to right this sinking ship. Mika is a good #2 center he’s not a #1. When the rink shrinks he disappears more often than not.

Huge error by drury not moving him before the season like some here said…when he actually had a bit of value. Only thing that could of happened with him did, he lost what little value he had…he was going to lose value over the season because he wasn’t that good and the whole league would see it.
Oh well, drury did what he could and now it’s onward. Good luck to vital vitali.

It wouldn’t surprise me if Lindgren is back playing in a few games because every time I see he get smashed I think he is done and he is back a few days later.

well, there goes the rangers best defensive defensemen, another issue added to a team that is badly flawed.
Left arm in a sling =shoulder fracture or separation. I was in a sling for 6 weeks after I fractured my shoulder. This is long term. At the very least, he’s gone for the rest of the regular season and likely longer unless he’s wearing it as a precaution.. But, the purpose of a sling is to immobilize…so that’s not good.

After watching today’s comedy show I don’t care who they trade.
That’s a smart move with Chytil if he is. Going to be a cap issue this summer regardless. Laferty or a player like him gives you a solid third line centre going forward for the rest of this season and next (so would a sturm type). Gives you better overall play at that spot, better fit, and less cap problems going forward.
It still puts you in need of a 4C though, but that seems a need regardless in most of these scenarios.
LTIR may help, drury has plenty of assets to work with…more assets than cap space lol.

If it is just the vital vitali and leschyshyn cap clearing accrual deal, I think the rangers will only be able to carry 12 forwards/21 guys the rest of the regular season if I understand the $$$$ correctly.
Ltir could change that obviously.
My guess and I’m just The Minx. Chytil, Jones, and a pick or prospect, or pick & prospect, for Kane and Lafferty.
This cap stuff is a bunch of garbage.

If you can’t afford to pay someone well that’s sad but should be a problem that the whole league must suffer for.

We can trade Chytil again and create another hole in the middle but ignore the top 6 who folded today
Regardless of who does or doesn’t go…and this deal may take a bit if the “accrual” process is the path taken with all its moving parts…you guys try to enjoy yourselves and don’t be shocked to see a few more games like today between now and next weekend but it’ll all sort itself out.

No worries I’ve seen this show before.
With Lindgren gone you can kiss any chance of deep playoffs goodbye but enjoy the greatest River hockey you’ll ever see with Panaren and Kane. Fire Gallant and you got to wonder about the phycological damage to the team. Drury and overkill. I hope everybody enjoys the next couple of weeks. It should be fun.
You have to believe Lafferty is a part of the deal. So who would be going for him…. Or is he somehow part of the 3 way? I said 3 way……

If Lindgren can’t go tomorrow- which I assume is the case- will they just go with 6 and 11 or will they bring up someone from Hartford? I think they need to accrue cap to bring in Kane (and Lafferty?) on Wednesday. I would love to know the back story on whether Sather and Dolan are driving this or Drury has a free hand.

I agree about Chytil. But it will cost something if it’s Kane and Lafferty. A center needs to go the other way. But like I said earlier right now I don’t care who they trade. The play by Laffo-Busto at our own blue that led to another goal was pathetic and really looked like he couldn’t care less.
It’s a shame we have to suffer with this mismanaged organization. ALMOST every move they make, signings, trades, and draft pick ends in futility.

Trading Chytil for a rental is a bad idea. They need a return that might be here next year and they don’t have a center to replace him. Of course that probably means he is on his way to Chitown.
Could Lafferty be that non-rental center coming the rangers way in exchange for Chytil?

One thing about yesterdays game was the amount of abuse Chytil took. Spears,crosschecks punches. All with no response from him beside some pushing and shoving. I don’t know about the rest of you but there comes a time when you have got to drop the gloves and go crazy. TJ Oshie has no reputation but he stood in very well against Goodrow.
Last but not least there is the Kane trade. We all now the outcome will be bad and we all know we will not be harder to play against with him in the lineup. It is ashame the GM who gets paid to do this stuff does not see this.
Oh well. Lets see how bad our defense plays tonight.
