FIRST to tell you that we CAN beat Capital’s snobbish, we SHOULD and we WILL. (BTW, I’m not sure if you know that ovechkin translates from Russian as a someone associated with a little sheep. Just saying…).
One thing is for sure – we wouldn’t like to help Ovi getting closer to Gretzky record.
Do whatever you want, but I don’t like our, so called 1st line combination … Weak defensively and physically. I would disperse the talents, but again, – what do I know…

I got soooo tired and annoyed to red and listen everywhere and all the time, about Ovi’s race for the GO’s score record. Too much. Trouba can’t do anything right and any play Miller makes is based on pure skill since he is always out of position and chasing the play. Move Schneider up.

Surprised that they were not interested in competing tonight. Kemper had a lounge chair shutout. Long shots without screens that went into the glove or missed the net all night. Power play ineffective. Saw a new twist on goalie interference. Contact in the crease that was very one saw but the refs and Toronto, apparently. To announce that there was no contact with the goalie in Jen the rest of the world saw it is a complete embarrassment. As was the 5 on 3 in the first and the no call on Gauthier heading to the net. Bottom line……the Rangers were still on their Christmas break tonight.
How do you fix what we saw tonight? No one except some of the 4th line guys showed anything. One thing you have to hope for is that somehow it gets better. Can not get much worse.
