I like this game with “shorthanded” defensemen — forwards are forced to be defensively conscious at all times.
They haven’t played any team D since the Canes game. A less skilled team could easily have a 7 game losing streak going now. Their skill papered over their poor defensive play for a while. It eventually caught up to them.
