I’m not a fan of either tbh at that spot. Garland I think has term on his deal and I’m not sure at what price.
I think both are better suited for the third line and I think the third line is the biggest concern.
Just my opinion though and I could be totally wrong about the third line being an “issue”.
I would definitely be onboard for upgrades throughout the roster though including top 2 forward line positions.

The only thing Drury should decide is how much he’s willing to give up at deadline in order to make a serious run at it. And I suspect it’s more than we think. Something else. You know I’m the first to go all over CapFriendly calculating what they can and can’t afford. Something tells me Drury isn’t concerned about it as much as we are. Was asked to restate stats from prior post as a ‘rate’ and include total points. Done, on a per 60 basis (same as NHL uses for their 5v5). Anyone who prefers as per minute, divide by 60 😉
I’ve always considered A2 as a bit sketchy as a lot of times they seem to be given out as participation trophies. Complained about this when Zuc was here as a ton of his points were secondary assists and his stats looked inflated for what he was.

I was pretty young, but I can remember the last few years of the Cat’s Rangers era. The George Grimm stories posted here were some of the best that I’ve ever read about those Rangers teams that contended, including some material Grimm wrote about The Cat himself. Guessing the Rangers honor him, not only with a moment of silence, but with a helmet sticker or shoulder patch.

Going to see a lot of the Pens, Canes, Caps and Islanders in the next couple months. (No, the Islanders are not a playoff team this year, but they’ll play us like it’s the playoffs).

I mean barring a significant injury to a important player or a serious losing streak, can’t imagine we should label drury as anything other than pizza guy or captain clutch until after the deadline.
