I feel like no one gives a damn at that point. Most players on the two benches come out take their turn and skate off without much thought or effort. I’ve seen more determination at an open practice honestly.
Looks more like an inconvenience to most of these guys. The skill guys have a ball but once a few of them go it’s anyone’s game.

Excellent effort by both teams tonight, Bruins were shorthanded and Rangers had the long layoff. Jones looks better than Nils right now. Pretty sure he is an NHL D. Not sold on Nils yet. Jones even took the body on McAvoy. Not bad for a smurf.
It does appear the East playoffs are set and the rest of the games are only for seeding purposes.

Another poor coaching job by David Quinn. Team USA looked like the Quinn coached Rangers. They refused to shoot on extended 5 on 3 PP and naturally wasted a golden opportunity to put the game away. They naturally gave up the last minute 6 on 5 goal to let Slovakia tie the game, because that’s what Quinn’s teams do, and then proceeded to lose in a shootout. No medal game for Team USA. What a huge disappointment.
