BDL, allow me to write something as a doctor. We now see cases of people with significant long term effects. Some of them had minimal Covid symptoms, but lingering effects. People with mild symptoms, even without significant respiratory involvement initially, if any, had lingering issues for a few weeks with minimal physical activity. There is now a notion that people who had no symptoms, but developed antibodies later, had some physical tolerance problems for awhile. Studies are outgoing. I’m a part of one that’s looking at kids and adolescents. I can’t imagine that Zibanejad, who, as per many reports was symptomatic, even if it was mild, didn’t have any effects impacting his endurance, considering this is a highly physically demanding sport. Chytil, for the record, said as much about himself.
