Maybe they didn’t bring in Q to tutor the kids. Maybe that was a ruse. Maybe Gorton just wanted a college coach who would just take orders and do rah-rah. Maybe he didn’t want an experienced coach with a confrontational attitude, like a Torts or a Trotz who would give him lip.
