It really doesn’t matter. We are going to watch real hockey.
Here is Carp’s season preview posted few minutes ago. I was going to write my own as well, but I don’t think I have time. Carp does it miles better anyway.

If Line #4 can effectively forecheck and do, we’re on our way. Underrated need.

From what DairyQueen said yesterday it sounds like Mika’s minutes will be closely watched/evaluated by the medical staff. I’d temper expectations of Mika at 100% for a few weeks. But Mika at 80% is better than a lot of guys so..

Beezle, that’s strange to me unless he did in fact have respiratory issues from virus. He started off white hot to start last season then he “let himself get injured and let the team down for weeks”…It is what it is but I’m hope he gets back to 100%.
I have it on authority that Wicky is blizzard chasing and has set up a bivouac just below the summit of Turner Mt in NW Montana to get first tracks after the storm tomorrow. Unfortunately, his avvy beacon does not get NHL updates 😉

Funny you put Kreider first. If you look at his career numbers, he is consistent. Never enough for most, but the yearly output is steady. Not a 30-35 goal scorer but will scrape the wall and bang in front and pot 25-28 goals; a feature missing from almost anyone else on the roster, but not good enough for the fantasy hockey crowd.
Chytil is the key; if he finds another level of play this team can make hay. Right now, the bottom 6 is not much to get excited about save for Laffy who probably won’t be there for long.
Who is playing pk? esp with Mika operating a 80%

I would imagine we will see Rooney on the PK probably more than we would like to given the circumstances.
Kreider is consistent overall but was getting taken to the cleaners on this blog last year when he had a slow start.
As for Trouba, I tune out a lot of the critics because they tend to have unrealistic margins of error set for him due to his contract. I try to tune that stuff out. Except for C3 when he’s 2 rows in front of me yelling about it lol

I was just mentioning Captain Clutch and Uncle Glennie to my wife last week. I used to read those posts to her all the time. We loved them. They were classics.
