Ugh Kreider
Also not great on Skjei, who’s also had a great night.
And here’s how we throw the game away.
Trade Kreider
Quinn knows it.
Not to bright of #20
That’s sarcasm about Skjei having a great night, right Norm?
I’d like to see replay of Panarin’s “dive”
Finally a kreider sighting
Kreider right on schedule with moronic 3rd-period, o-zone penalty.
Game turns really stupid…all of a sudden.
Well THE finally got involved… Offensively
Rangers are about to come back to Earth
I don’t mind that kreider penalty one bit
Referees deciding that they’re going to decide who wins this game. I’m about to throw the tv out the f- window
Only thing being embellished is how badly the NHL doesn’t want the Islanders to lose this series. Lol.
Hope Bread scores right in their face after that.
Georgie standing on his head. We would not be in this game without him
Not at all, Skjei’s been good. Not on that play, though.
I LOVE Lindgren!
That’s because you’re in you’re right mind Wicky.
The same people who cry for Kreider to go hard to the net are going to be bitching and moaning about how that was a stupid play on his part
Love Lindgren
I love Lindgren… .they have needed a guy like that for what seems like a century.
Lindgren with the Face of Real Hockey
Skjei’s minus 2 says otherwise, Norm.
I like kreider and wanted rangers to resign him but not for 7-8 years at 7+ million per year. Hopefully gorton fleeces a desperate playoff team before the deadline.
Trouba really struggles with high tempo pace games.
James, the Kreider play wasn’t stupid. It was his inability to even act like he cared if he got the goalie that was stupid. Zero attempt to avoid him. Zero.
Excellent learning game for the Baby Blueshirts, no matter what happens.
*hit
+/-, ev, really? Notice who he’s playing with tonight?
James the only problem is the timing of it – very late in game not the best risk reward
They both suck on most nights, Norm. On the other night at least one of them still does.
pulock checked Kreider right into his goalie. That was a reputation call.
IMHFO
That’s because trouba can’t skate, not a fan of trouba.
No. He made no attempt to avoid him. He went directly into him without moving at all.
Norm either has his unique, spectacular, unorthodox, distorted view on game’s action, or he deliberately is trolling distinguished audience.
Kreider grabbing his hand or wrist. Injury??
Trade the friggin crappy Russian.
Its up to The Legend to win this
Refs want the Islanders to win. How is that not a penalty??
CK 20 decked….play on….nothing to see here.
Fast decked.
Penalty called.
Thanks, BGB
Isles got one of the best 3om3 records in the league.
So the league and refs trying to get them there.
Believe the NHL doesn’t want the rangers taking all 3 of these games in regulation
Huge moment coming up
Big game brass still playing for the Rangers.
It took 3 crosschecks to get a call.
Make-up call? Boychuk knee-to-knee on Kreider was the really bad one.
Told ya
BWHAHAHABABAaA!!!!!!
THE!
HOT DIGGITY!!!!!!!
Justice!
This is a huge game if they can hang on
Kreids has been a monster
YOU PEOPLE WANNA TRADE KREIDER NOW???
Enigma
KREIDER WITH THE HUGE FU
Holy sh1t!!!!!
WHAT A GAME!!!
Hell yes!!! Fugg the homeless d-bags!
Boy George has to 1st star
I go Georgiev/Chytil/Skjei. No problem with a 3 for Kreider, either. Not a great game, huge goal.
Didn’t deserve, Norm? What a fan.
A-a-and the Rangers win a low-scoring, one-goal game. I lived to see it.
Strome huge on the late faceoffs
That was a ballsy game by the boys
THAT…. just happened. Humpty Dumpty and the Fish Tanks can suck it!
Aaah, why does this win feel so good?
Big boy pants game
Two future former Rangers Georgiev and Kreider win the game!
GEE:
LETS TRADE GEORGIEV and KREIDER
⭐️ Georgi
⭐️⭐️ Lindgren
⭐️⭐️⭐️ Chytil
Chytil played a good game. That line has been good coincidentally to Howden’s move to wing
NORMAN:
Like HELL the Rangers didn’t deserve to win this game. Like HELL they didn’t!!
Beer the hell outta me!
So the rangers have made this an 8 pt swing.
If the isles win the 3rd game it drops back down to a 4 pt swing
But if the rangers win the 3rd game. It’s a complete 12 pt swing.
These are important wins
Lindgren definitely deserve a star
Easy 3 on this one Georgiev, lindgren, kreider…in no particular order.
Please get head and shoulders to waive his no trade… If not for him, there would be enough money for both Georgiev and Kreidsdale.
THE with the FU goal!!!!
With the exception of the game in St.Louis….they are actually starting to look good.
Georgiev deserved to win this game. Credit to his team for giving it to him. Nice comeback by Strome towards the end after a tough, tough start.
Why can’t Kings have term limits???
I don’t want to trade kreider but he is going to be a free agent and the rangers aren’t going to sign him for 7-8 year at 7 million.
With every Georgie win Hank’s hair gets 30 split ends
I’d find a way to sign Kreider if they can find a way to get him to agree to 6 years and slightly less money. What if they threw in performance incentives that aren’t too difficult. How does that affect the cap hit?
Ovi with a Hattie
So I guess brassard got called for the xcheck as I posted that.
I take credit for it. The universe heard me
Lindgren and chytil were really good tonight
So The Legend drew the Brass penalty
Georgi has earned the #1 goalie designation
Chytil is so damn hard on the puck. If that’s gonna be his average shift. He’s gonna be dominate I think
EV Ilb can confirm but if there is not cap to pay bonus it carries over into the next season. But its somewhat complex
Brass got called because he croschecked him 3 times each time harder than the last.
All kidding aside.
I don’t see how you can trade Georgiev.
Beezle, if it goes over to the best season then that’s obviously perfect with all the cap space they’ll have in 2021-22.
“if”
Georgiev earned his number one early in the season, lost it in a bad stretch, certainly looking #1-ish these last two. But this business of can’t trade a guy when he’s hot is exactly the opposite of sell-high. You look at the whole picture, decide whether you’re going to trade him or not, and thank your lucky stars if he gets hot when you’re trying to do it. If the plan is to keep him, nothing wrong with him being hot, either. I can’t imagine a GM who has decided to trade someone (not saying that’s the case here) hanging up the phone because the guy he’s trading is looking fantastic at the moment. If anything he’s asking for another pick.
Yes until they are at limit again. Can’t see them ever being much under
FIRE LUNDQVIST!
ValleyKat mentioned the diaper line. That’s Carp’s tag right?
I wanna hear what Panarin has to say about that embellishment call.
Norm understood, you make perfect sense.
But at the same time, this is a kid who seems unflappable under pressure. Not to take anything away from Talbot and Raanta, but they aren’t on Georgiev’s level. Secondly, with Hank at the end of his great career, Shesterkin still hasn’t proved himself as a number one.
Strouba 26 min SkjeL 25
That game was exhausting….for me
Georgie’s lightning quick and so quietly confident in his movements
He’s quicker than Talbot
And he’s more confident, plays bigger than rantta
Exactly jpp —
Georgiev is a special player. I don’t think you can trade someone like him.
As others have said, he is the number one goaltender on this team.
I know, there was always Mackenzie Skapski…
There is no such thing as an undeserved win. When a team wins, it’s because it did whatever was necessary to win.
Yes yes I’m bleeding
I love when I bleed in a hockey game

Psh.
Sorry guys haha
Admiral, I have zero problem with keeping Georgiev if they plan on him being their #1. At the moment, though, neither he nor Shesty looks like being a #2, so I think you trade one of them. At the moment. I’d ride Georgiev for as long as he’s hot, learn what you need to learn, go from there.
Agreed in one statement I heard from the pundit peanut gallery that is the my rangers on msg: Tony’s Jack-in- the-box goal/redemption really did change our momentum. Thought the confidence came back after that.
Officials terrible as usual. At least our goal counted. No love for fish sticks but that WAS a weak call… of course they missed Kreider before that for us and called Fox for nothing too, so I guess it evens out in the crooked manner that they do business
Anyone find any irony in Kreider getting that penalty, which is kind of an “old school” thing he used to do, followed by Brassard taking a bad one late… (part of why he was traded)
EV
bonus laden contracts only for entry level and 35 and over guys.
*NY
As an aside, before the game start. Anyone hear Michelleti comments on Georgie: “He’s so competitive. And you wonder if, maybe playing with Lundqvist doesn’t help him there”
They LITERALLY cannot resist kissing Hanks backside haha
The refs blew the game starting with the call on Fox as Barzal was falling down. Continuing with the diving on Panarin, the silly call on Lindgren, the non calls as Kreider was kneed, hacked, and tripped, and then the cheesy “makeup” call on Brassard at the very end.
Otherwise, a superlative game and effort by both teams.
Panarin I thought dived. He’d never go down that easy if he were angling to the net, let’s put it that way.
Fast got 9.0 when hit by Brassard.
Took him long enough. He stayed up for the first two, smart to sell the third.
Took him long enough. He stayed up for the first two, smart to sell the third.
Not sure I agree with you on Panarin though. As the play was progressing, Panarin found a seam between some players in front of the net and Czikis behind. As Panarin was skating left to right through the seam, I was thinking Czikis would have to pull down Panarin to prevent an A-1 forehand shot from the slot. That’s exactly what Czikis did – he did what he had to do. I was shocked to see Panarin called as well.
Don’t trade Georgiev until you find out Whose number one. Shesterkin has not proved himself after two NHL games. Hank is 38. He’s not the future, he’s got to go. One of the other two is. Which one? Find out. Don’t trade the wrong one…
The thing is, I haven’t seen an embellishment call all season, yet, I see players going down when they are barely touched by an opponent’s stick. Come on. These guys have been on skates since they were 3 years old. Do you really think it’s THAT easy to bring them down? Yet, they practically never call embellishment any more. Of course, they did on Panarin. Carumba!
I can’t believe I missed the game I’m an Ultra Maroon!
