Game night is right. 10:30 pm start? Not sure I can watch it live, considering my morning schedule.
The person we talked about last night does not deserve his name to be mentioned here, let alone being discussed. I’d much rather talk about someone like that!

Gorton interview in the Post today. Seems to be happy with some of the attributes and the record of the team to this point. Not stressing the goalie situation of course.
It’s our job to stress out about the goaltending situation, not his.

He’s not stressing it because he knows exactly what he needs to do. He’s just waiting for the fish to take the bait. Besides Toronto, watch for Detroit, and Ottawa. Both in need of a STARTING goaltender.
The operative word is STARTING, BDL is correct. We have two starters, one of them is available. If someone is looking for a back up, look elsewhere. Where is my check? 🙂

Last night was a painful reminder of Eli’s entire career. Moments of greatness but a ton of mediocrity. Not that his teammates helped in second half but every qb has to deal with stone handed drops. My only holiday gift wish is that Gettleman and Shumer get the boot. Hard.

I’m not as down on Gettleman as most. I can see what he’s trying to do. He was left with an empty talent base. Though I completely understand how people can feel otherwise about him.

BDL I’m just teasing, not being a jerk. #context. I do think that they’ll want to see Shesterkin at the NHL level before they do anything. Maybe it’s in the event of an injury or post deadline or whatever but it should happen before they just make any deal involving goalies.

One of the goalies is going to be traded. It’s going to happen. The time to do it is when you have the leverage. They have the leverage with Toronto right now. All others can wait till the summer. But don’t wait to long because leverage is a fickle bizatch.

Wicky – I and a friend drove straight thru from San Diego to NYC in 50 hours only stopping for gas. We had chemical help. Don’t see it being possible to do it in less time much less 27 hours.

I feel like there should be a decent amount of time doesn’t as a head coach in the minors or as an nhl assistant first.

I tend to agree but I’m not ready give up on Quinn. However I think 15-11-3 is more a reflection of the team’s talent than DQ’s coaching.

ILB, I’m sure he will. JD will factor in to some extent as well I would think. It’s not that I don’t think one will get dealt eventually, I just think it’s kind of crazy to jump the gun. Not just for the GM but fans as well.
