Earlier someone mentioned (too lazy to scroll back to find out who) that someone needed to come up with a defense against that pp drop pass zone entry. Looked to me like the Rangers pk took an attempt at it on the first couple of Jersey pp’s. Had three men back and the fourth trailing the puck carrier. Broke up that drop pass at least twice, once almost got outright control. Something to look for going forward?

So let me just make sure I have this right. Quinn played 4 centers but put one of the best two on the wing….then scratched an AHL center and put Haley at center…..And says he liked the 4 center deployment?

I guess needing to keep Strome, Chytil, Mika and Howden in the top 9 is a good problem to have but did they really not have any interest in paying Boyle 950k to play fourth line center or maybe 3rd if in a pinch?
Having Boyle on this team would’ve been really nice for the kids.
See, this is actually where the problem is if he tries to use his 4 centers at center…

If I’m reading your question correctly, you are assuming incorrectly. They played a Strome, Zibanejad, Chytil, and Howden at center today. Howden centered the 4th line.
