This year the NHL and NHLPA celebrate 20th Anniversary of the Hockey Fights Cancer initiative. With their main focus on cancer research this initiative raised and donated millions of dollars to support the cancer programs all over NA.

Comical watching Lemieux out there on that Minny goal. He was completely done after a minute–a credit to how hard he plays–but couldn’t get off, and was left stuck in slush, waving his stick around like a bandleader.
Best thing on that minny goal is watching chytil literally standing there as the minny pass goes right by him on the point and he doesn’t even move his stick toward it then gets the birds eye view of praise scoring as he’s just standing there in slush.

They have pissed this game away. They have been the better team, but, didn’t use their territorial advantage to score at all. They eventually made a couple of mistakes and the Wild cashed them in. I guess it’s a learning process. It’s very frustrating to watch them squander a game.

Just updated. Rangers better than 14 teams in pt. %, nearing the middle. Here comes the Ranger train! OK, maybe not, but good stuff anyway, two comeback wins in a row.
Lots of good stuff tonight. More O zone and therefore SOG against < 30 for only the second time this year. Looked like DQ was going to leave Fox and ADA on together at the end until they scored or gave one up. Fox is much better defensively than I expected. His positioning and anticipation are excellent and he does subtle little things with the puck so often you take it for granted. And they avoided Zucc in the shoot out.
