I’ve said it a million freaking times and I’ll say it again… We don’t have the right guys to play a Quinn/Torts type system. With the exception to Lemieux, Trouba (who’s invisible lately) and a few others, this is a VERY passive team that isn’t heavy on the puck/forecheck. When you combine that with Lindy Ruff… this is the crap you’ll get. He needs to go, and they need players who will win board battles and don’t want to play fancy boy hockey. Too much trying to skill their way to wins rather than will their way to wins.

And man, these guys don’t seem to communicate on the ice at all. The amount of times I watched a defender fighting in the corner for the puck and two rangers forwards just standing stationary waiting for a pass, saying nothing.
MAYBE that’s why the dman can’t find you. Bc your standing stationary waiting for a pass while the other team is buzzing. The forwards need to let the D know with his voice when he’s a sage option and where he is so the defender can gauge where to go with the puck instead of throwing it blind.

It sucks because he’s losing us games we could be winning; a couple so far this year and well over 10 games last year get it sucks because it takes the air and energy out of a team’s confidence.
