Good morning, boneheads!
There will be a second buyout window for Gorton to use, whether he uses it remains to be seen. It will open on the third day after the last of two ( Buchnevich and Trouba ) arbitrations settle ( either by arbitration award or by them agreeing to contracts), and it will last 48 hours. IMHO, buying out Marc Staal makes the most sense for many reasons, but I doubt it’s going to happen.
Lets see what you think

From Sunday, yeah Alex, Federer choked indeed. Happens to the best of them, even Mariano did once or twice. Had he just lost normally, I’d be fine. But it was kind of devastating for him to have had it in his grasp.
Ban everyone!
Ban gravy for his stance on banning others!
Ban gravy because his post on banning makes him seem like an anti-postite 😉
Mrs. Monahan : You pollute the air with your smoking. You reek of liquor and god knows what else. You’re an ecological menace!
Monty : Yeah, well you were the inspiration for twin beds!

Carp’s name got pulled out of the hat so he works today!
They put up the projected lines for Colorado on NHL network yesterday. Borakovski was there second line LW. Kreider is still the perfect player for them to get. I still think the Lanche is where Kreider ends up if traded.
What would be the ask back from Avs?
Brass should have dealt him at the prior deadline to get maximum return. Take a look at the top 20 LWs and most are unavailable. Like McD, he is a top line player at a team friendly rate who would fetch a big return especially if packaged with another player or two.
Here is a list compiled using advanced stats; OV @ #9 one spot ahead of Kredier @ #10 will turn some heads; but looks at all facets of 200 ft game and not just if they score over 30 goals per season…

Bread Man @ #3; Kreider @ #10; maybe use LW as a position of strength to make for lack of a second top 6 pivot
