I have not partakes in much all star stuff in a long time. But plan on having my 8U mite watch some.

Quinn seems like a kinder, gentler Torts. You knew they would go after a more hands on guy after AV’s laissez-faire philosophy didn’t pan out. I was a little surprised he seemed to say college coaching was a harder job because of all the various responsibilities you have. He has no NHL track record so we don’t know what they have in him-just like many of the players. He will ultimately be judged by his record as all coaches are. He is not in awe of the job and is going to do what he thinks is best not what the players want. Nothing really surprising in what he said. He is just more open about things than many others. He knows Hayes pretty well so I assume he won’t take what was said as an insult. Whether Hayes is here next year is about $s and years not DQ dissing him. Hopefully DQ is Pete Carroll with the Seahawks, not with the Jets.

James – switching those 3d for the other 3d makes us better but not by all that much. Our forward group is not all that either. maybe we could manage a wildcard in that scenario.

The Dallas Stars will play the Nashville Predators in the 2020 NHL Winter Classic at the Cotton Bowl. It’s the 1st outdoor game for both franchises.

Then it sounded like he told all players to stay in college and become UFAs and hey, I’m coaching the New York Rangers, who’s coming with me.
