I understand it’s game 7 for the Fishsticks, we all get it. But this is getting borderline ridiculous. The Rangers are still looking for their first win at Barclays. Yup, our boys have never won in Brooklyn, the record is pathetic 0-5-1. In fact, their record against the Islanders since the beginning of 2015-16 season is 1-9-2. I’m curious to see what this year’s players ( and David Quinn ) have to say about it. Better yet, I’m anxious to see how are they going to play tonight.

They didn’t leave things as is. Not that Zucc had anything to do with the goals against, but there wasn’t a need to bring him back right away.
Is there a more coddled NY athlete than Hank? Valliquette comes on the intermission and says “I’m here to defend Henrik Lundqvist.” Hank has been great this season. But he had a bad game. However, none of the goals against are attributed to him, but to bad luck. There is no wonder why Hank doesn’t want to leave. He is immune from criticism. That is a difficult to accomplish in New York.

Ive long reserved the right to judge Shattenkirk when healthy, not based on his terrible showing last season when playing on one leg.
I’ve seen enough. Another disappointing UFA. We can at least get something for him, and thank god we didn’t trade for him.
I’ve also seen all I need to see out of Claesson. Offer him a 3-year extension at $1m per. Perfect depth defenseman for this team through the rebuild.

But it’s VERY obvious he’s a shell of the player he was 2-3 seasons ago.
Zucc was a great Ranger (see: Girardi, Nash, McDonagh).
But his shelf life within this organization has expired.

I hate when Henrik avoids the loss due to 2 so what goals by Rangers and 1 goal allowed by backup – when we never tied the game. Happened a few times in last few years.
So DQ says the Ranger net front was a safe place and they will work on that tomorrow. They took enough penalties. One should have been a cross check in front of the net.
