After winning their first game in regulation our boys will try to go for two in a row.
The last win was against the Panthers, a team that is not good at all. But Florida did beat the Islanders yesterday. So there’s that. For the record, our boys played much worse than they did in some games that they lost. They had too many defensive breakdowns comparing to what we saw earlier. You can be sure they will not get away with this one unless they get back to DQ’s structure.
Same lineup, which means Lettieri and DeAngelo are prucha’d.

This is the second of their games I have gone to. They have been badly outplayed in both , but, Hank kept them in. They managed to beat SJ, but , couldn’t get more than one tonight. Only Buch and Hayes looked good and Skjel was so bad it’s not funny. Lots of D breakdowns and long sieges in their end. If they are really this bad it will be a long rebuild.
It’s going to be a long rebuild anyway … but this team is loaded with placeholders while, as a friend in the business correctly summed up: the rebuild is happening in Hartford, in juniors, in colleges, in Europe and the KHL.
