It’s Go Time!

Rangers ( 25-24-5 ) vs Flames ( 28-18-8 ). TV- MSG

Calgary won 3 in a row. Another red-hot team. The Rangers, on the other hand, are hoping to avoid season-long fifth consecutive loss.

I wonder if the last two days’ news affected them. And to what extent. I can’t imagine it hasn’t. But there is still pride, and there are still guys who are playing for their spot in the league next year, and some players who do not want to be traded. Even though the latter wouldn’t change much if there is a right deal. Oh, yes, there is something else. Us, the fans…

After waiving Smith ( who cleared waivers, as expected ), they called up two young D-men. Both did very well in Hartford, and both have an offensive upside. Neal Pionk goes straight from Hartford to play with McDonagh. John Gilmour is prucha’d. Welcome to the NHL, kids!

Hank in net.

LGR!!!!!

UPDATE: Ryan McDonagh is out tonight with a lingering upper body injury and most likely won’t join the team on the upcoming road trip. Both Pionk and Gilmour are playing tonight. For everyone who wanted to see the youth playing, there is your chance. Just don’t get your boxers in a bunch if these two kids get schooled by Johnny Hockey and Co.

First night in 2 weeks that I was able to sleep for more than 4-5 hours. I’m refreshed enough to try and put something together

Giorgio Armani recalled from Hartford. So I guess Pav is out for at least one game.

Ain’t it something…after all these years of developing Halverson…he might be 6th on the depth chart.

St Pete – id keep kampfer around. No harm in having a LITTLE experience as 6/7. Holden I’d move the second someone offers an R3

Sittoo, I’m no Hank badger and Pav has played well this year. For AV to point out inconsistent play in the nets… you’d think he was blaming Hank for the season. He’s the reason they’re still in with a shot. And he’s been inconsistent.

Georgeiev and the Pack have been playing well lately. I think he had won 8 if his last 9.

one of the newbies in hartford has a lot of penalty minutes

The Rangers made a minor league trade, sending forwards Adam Chapie and Joe Whitney to the Capitals for forward John Albert and defenseman Hubert Labrie. Albert, 29, has skated in nine career NHL games, while Labrie, 26, has 350 penalty minutes in 316 career AHL games.

Listening on Sirius about how LA has no one to offer but are in desperate need of a LW.

One young nhl centre I wouldn’t mind seeing the rangers acquire is Dvorak.

Wonder how you pry him out of Arizona?

    Wicky,
I think if you gave the Yotes a steady two way center who puts up 50pts a year, and tossed in a good goaltender, you might be able to pry him out of there. 😁

I love how real everything and everyone is getting. This is good for everyone. You should see Nash’s quotes to brooks. He’s pissed about leaving. That’s good for him, he’s gonna have a good playoff run and it’s gonna lead to good things for him.

It’s a business rick, it certainly is. But it’s one for you too. You want to come back in the summer at a team friendly deal. That’s your business choice.
