The battle for the Stanley Cup has two remaining contestants: The Vegas Golden Knights and the Carolina Hurricanes. A number of former NYR are involved – Brett Howden, Reilly Smith and coach Tortorella for the VGK and K’Andre Miller for CAR.
The final will also have the top three goal scorers of the playoffs so far – Howden and Dorofeyev with ten each for the VGK and Stankoven with nine for Carolina. Likewise, the top three in total points – Marner (21) and Eichel (18) for Vegas and Hall (16) for Carolina.
