The Rangers have struggled at home so far this season but have done better on the road so perhaps a trip to the wild west of Canada can cure what ills?
Calgary has started off this season in alarmingly poor form for a team that finished last season with 96 points, missing the playoffs over a ROW tie breaker to St. Louis. The Flames have dropped seven in a row after opening the season with a win over Edmonton – the most recent being losses to WPG, MTL (OTL), WPG and VGK. The NYR enter the game having dropped games to SJS (OTL) and MIN at home after a nice road win over MTL.
Othmann was recalled from Hartford to take Rempe’s spot in the lineup. There have been no updates (yet) on Rempe beyond UBI so for now expect it to be day to day. We recommend that Othmann take advantage of his latest opportunity to show that he does belong at the NHL level.
The recent play combined with the Rempe injury gives coach Sullivan a chance to re-jigger the lineup. Perhaps Raddysh moves up, Othmann goes in his spot and Sheary drops down? Or something like that? Expect the the lineup to be fluid until game time so if time permits the card below will be updated. [UPDATED]
Refs tonight are Graham Skilliter (885 GP) and Brandon Schrader (338 GP). Schrader definitely is a home team fan.

The dam has broken in the last two games. They gave up on playing team D that would keep them in games. Pond hockey is back and they don’t have the skill to make it work. Time to blow it up. They could have 4 or 5 firsts in a deep draft. They might be watchable again in a few years.
