As usual with the bottom dweller’s teams, Rangers, despite of common knowledge of underestimation, started very casual against enthusiastic, having nothing to loose opponents, make some childish mistake, surprised, don’t timely collect themselves, made another and than menially melted, finding some consoling’s imitation of activity at the last minutes of a game.
They score another one here and I’m out. I’ve had a fever for over a week and I don’t need to deal with anymore of this crap.

The giveaways in their end are terrible. Habs continually jumped the pass from the left half boards to the second forward breaking out and the Rangers never adjusted. They are lucky the Habs missed the net or hit the post with 4 or 5 golden chances. They could have easily had 6 or 7 in regulation. They are back to playing like they did under GG. They have no attention to detail, are content to trade chances and don’t adjust during the games. Beezle’s spreadsheet tells why they will make the playoffs. They racked up points early in the season with more structured play and Quick playing like it’s 2014. They have been 500 for the last month and that will be how it goes from now on. They will be 2nd or 3rd in the Metro. I think they have a better first round shot against the Devils than the Canes this year. A first round win is their ceiling.
I want to be clear about something I said last night. This team as constructed now, isn’t winning the cup. I’m referring to Wheeler, Brodzinski, Bonino, and Gustafsson. Bonino may get by as 4th line center during the regular season, but I don’t think he can hold up under the playoff grind.
