In a high-scoring affair on November 25th, 2023, the New York Rangers secured a decisive 7-4 victory against the Boston Bruins. The Rangers’ forward Chris Kreider was particularly instrumental in the win, contributing two goals and an assist. His efforts were part of a larger offensive onslaught that saw the Rangers dominate the scoreboard. The team’s performance was not just a flash in the pan; it extended their impressive run to 13 wins, one loss, and one overtime loss in their last 15 games, underscoring their formidable presence in the league.
The game showcased offensive prowess for the Rangers, with Jimmy Vesey’s goal marking a pivotal moment late in the second period. This goal, Vesey’s fourth of the season, was scored during a delayed penalty and ultimately gave the Rangers a lead they would not relinquish. Jonathan Quick’s 27 saves between the pipes further bolstered the team’s victory, a solid performance that helped New York clinch the win against one of the top teams in the Eastern Conference.
Despite the Bruins’ efforts, which included a pair of goals from Charlie Coyle and contributions from Morgan Geekie and David Pastrnak, they could not overcome the Rangers’ momentum. The Bruins’ goaltender, Linus Ullmark, faced a challenging game, allowing a career-high seven goals on 34 shots. The match was a surprising turn of events, considering both teams entered the game with the NHL’s stingiest defenses, with New York and Boston allowing an average of 2.22 and 2.26 goals per game, respectively.

Chris Kreider has been a beacon of consistency and offensive prowess for the New York Rangers.
Anyone think Kreider should be hitting and fighting more?
Just asking for a friend.
In due time, CK20’s jersey number will be retired by the organization. Enjoy him in his prime. Hope he brings us home a Cup.
One of the greatest Rangers of all time, Chris Kreider.
Admiral….. would CK20 be that friend?I’m asking for someone that hates me🙃
Rich – your comment caused my head to explode! 😂
Lafreniere looks like a completely different player. He could have had 5 points in that game.
And Kakko looks like always. I guess he is not really a 2nd OA. More like a 3rd rounder who can be a grinder and chip in about 5 goals a season. If the Devil’s took him he’d have 15 goals already and we would have Hughes and he’d have 3 goals.
That was delightful
St Pete, I watched the entire game and had to go back and check the box score re: your comment. No points for La Fren! His impact certainly not reflected on the box score.
What an enjoyable contest. Rangers moved the puck well for most of the game. Contributions from the bottom 6. And beating Boston. Jack Edwards must have been whining.
Nice pond hockey win. Kinda like one of those 80s games.
One of the few games I didn’t get to watch, with the other being the 1-0 Penguins game.
This is a game that if we were Boston fans we’d undoubtedly say just burn the tape and move on…. Altho, I’d be a little concerned with having just lost to Detroit the day before.
Admiral. Said the same thing to my son tonight. I think ck20 jersey will be retired when all is said and done
Busto had 0 pts in the game but was a force out there. His pin-point passes to team mates are just not finding the back of the net. He is also shooting the puck often so his numbers should go up even more. I must admit from what I’ve seen this year he is proving me wrong. I hope he continues to prove me wrong in a big way. We still need that 3C. Is Ullmark losing weight? He usually covers more of the net lol!
Beezle
That pond hockey game might have gone south for our boys if Ullmark the pad monster was on his game.
My daughter and I always try to guess the three stars, and I said Laf could have been one, but they won’t give to someone with no points.
Minx we did give up 4 so yeah. If it was a more locked down game probably less but it was definitely our day to find the back of the net. I would expect next time we play Boston they will have a much different approach.

happy thanksgiving
mika and kreider heating up
So Trouba got fined 5K for the high stick. Funny how that is virtually the only “comment” from the more well known hockey guys on twitter
For your postgame amusement
Well the internet was ready to send Trouba to Adx Florence for the brutal aggravated stick assault to the face. Good thing the internet doesn’t ref nhl games
Bottom 6 scoring is a recipe for success
Czk20 should of had the hattie
KK needs to find a way
Jones in the Dzone is a bit of a roller coaster ride
Just win baby
Great win!!! Can’t discount the impact of Trouba’s play this year, he has been a force. I also can’t see how the Rangers could afford not to sign Lindgren at the end of this season, his heart and soul style of play mean way too much to this team. I like the Trouba – Lindgren pair on the PK and late in game when protecting the lead, something GG would never have done. Thought the Rangers played a grittier game than usual, which was nice to see. Some defensive lapses, but still a great win. Players seem to have bought in to Lav’s system, playing more north-south than east-west and not as many wish passes. Fourth line is much better than years past and had an excellent game as well.
https://nypost.com/2023/11/26/sports/its-finally-time-for-rangers-to-honor-legendary-brad-park/ Park in town this week ..hope they announce this
Was Larchmont Park named after Brad?
Loved #2 — both guys.
My straight-faced father convinced me the Triborough Bridge was named after Civil War hero Brigadier General William Henry Triborough. 3rd-grade fist fight ensued soon afterward.
What is up with Chytil?
A tidal wave of whining about Jacob Trouba on the web, led by Penguins beat writers. Looks like he will forever live rent free in their heads.
Opie the Vic announced retirement. 33 years of age. Back to the ranch in Mayberry. Who’s our new Vic? Chytil?
They are sure keeping Chytil the mystery quiet.
said he started skating Eli. no time table for return and shouldn’t rush him by any means
Agreed no need to rush Chytil.
The team is 15-3-1 for cryin out loud! 🙂
How in hell did all the Generals feel when Major Deegan got an Expressway named after him?
Chytil suffering from Overbite.
This was never about me suggesting Chytil should be rushed back into line-up. It is about his long term health.
No great mystery, Lav said a couple days ago I think it was that Chytil started skating on his own, probably won’t hear much again until he rejoins skating with the team. A baby step but a good one. Hope he has a thorough recovery!
It IS a mystery. Out too long. What’s the story, Maurie?
He hurt his brain. Vital organ for many.
Bach made good use of his large organ.
I was explaining some stuff to my 6 year old grandson, he was listening intently. I smiled and said I have a lot of brains. He just looked at me and said “no grandpa you only have one.”
Norm – Chytil eats corn on the cob through a chain-link fence. (where did I hear that B4?)
Question
Boneheads, how corrupt are sports with all the sports betting going on?
St. Pete…Had this conversation at thanksgiving. Consensus was bad calls that were considered just that are now “the ref had a bet.”
Fox is skating in practice, full gear, etc
Tally-Ho!
Admin for some reason I am unable to comment on my android cell
Apparently word press has completely change the comment format 🤔

St Pete eli Agree with you on this betting crap. It’s just screwing up further our younger generation. Wynn at Las Vega states on average nobody really makes it big time. go Rangers
