I bet he still can, St Pete. Most likely better than anyone on our team too.

They want to pass the puck into the back of the net on the powerplay. That is always a sure fire way to a win. Nice to see different commercials on tnt. There broadcast crew sucks. Rangers d zone coverage looking somewhat better. But again they are way to fancy when they have he puck. I think it is going to be a vefy long season.

When they pull Shesty they should use him as a forward

The best part of this game, other than Kakko’s goal, is that it’s over.

How does everyone feel about using the “Jamesgeau” still. I feel like it’s a good way to memorialize him. Anyone feel differently?
I don’t want to use it if anyone feels it’s disrespectful.

    Summary of the preseason:
Terrible!!! Bad aftertaste in mouth and sour mood before start of the regular season.
If this is any indicator – this team will be lucky to fight for wild card. However even this is doubtful.

I have a dreadful feeling that what we have seen from the Rangers this preseason is what we are going to see in the regular season.
It’s not a skill problem with the Rangers it’s a will problem. To put it bluntly it is a problem of the heart….they have no heart.
If I am right come March a lot of guys will have address changes, the coach as well.
    I hope I’m wrong.

I didn’t expect a win tonight and again we had the second best goalie. We’re seen this show before.

Hey – I’m not against blowing this team up if this upcoming season is under par.

    1-5 preseason.  Wow.

I said this a couple of weeks ago:  I am not excited about this upcoming season at all, and actually I have some dread.  Maybe it was the flameout against the mighty Derbils in the playoffs, despite having a hall of Famer laden roster…

I’m sorry.  This is not a symptom of “pre-season.”  This is a symptom of a badly constructed team.  I don’t care what new systems they implement.  They don’t have the balls that it takes to consistently win.

The fan base is very impatient. They could turn on the team quickly if it starts slowly. All the baseball and football teams stinking g doesn’t give them cover early in the season.

And the rise of the Derbils also further adds to the impatience of Rangers fans.

This team might actually truly stink.

Sad yet beautiful obituary. Clearly he was a fighter. He will be missed for sure. Even though I only sparingly interacted with him on this forum I will miss him. I miss him already.
    RIP James.

Kakko’s Camp- I can’t speak for anyone else, but I think using “Jamesgeau” would be a nice little tribute to him and keep him part of this blog. RIP James.

Rest in Peace James. Gone way too soon. I think keeping the Jamesgeau is a nice tribute to him and keeps him alive on this blog that meant so much to him. Thoughts and prayers go out to his wife, son and family, as well as those of you here that were close to him.
