FIRST?
And Rosen will last a lifetime!
if Miller is gonna kill penalties clear the friggin crease
Is this thing on?
Miller is just another big guy that is contact adverse. Its crazy, use the tools you were given.
Othman – looks like we have a potential stud.
That was easy!
How many games before Lafreniere skates the puck into the O-Zone. How many games before he scores a goal?
Otter is a player
Shouldn’t we stop expecting Miller to become a physical player by now? That’s just not his game. The kid is obviously the second coming of Tom Poti (or Willie Huber).
LGR! Hate dem debils.
Cullye and Othman have more balls than half the squad
Othman > Laffy as far as I’m concerned
do we get a pre-season Gravy?
Headzo luv your ” Rosen will last a lifetime “
Daneyko is a pleasure to listen versus Gutch Boring
Busto lacking Gusto!
Team looks a little more heavy duty than last year. Luv Cullye and Orthman
Lone – his AI emoji will haunt us after he’s dead
MSG will have AI Sam, same looks and voice, doing the games. Sam is forevers!
I’ve seen nothing to like about the Fox-Miller pairing
Half ok period?
Lol @ AI Samuel.
Better than AI Goring
I’ve forgotten the name of the startup but they deal with AI generated audio. I uploaded a voicemail sample of a friend and then used their system to generate some text. His mid 20s son thought it was his father when I sent it to him (“your dad left me this vm!”)
Derbils starting to fly around. Need to tighten up a bit here woof
Kreider and Fox sleep-skating on that one. Cool.
Always a great sign when your vets are being outplayed by a combo of AHLers/kids.
Not impressed
Yup- I wanna smash that guitar over that guy’s head.
Another PP lol!
Not impressed with Lafreniere. Sorry.
Trade Lafreniere before it’s too late.
Laffy brain fart
Admiral
No need to be sorry.
Laffy, I’m afraid, is a lost cause. Is all preseason games so far, he looks even worse than last season. So sad. On other hand – Cullye, Othman and Gustafson seemed promising and home in the current team.
I have see enough of Busto
Sam : Brodzinski is shooting a lot. Lol!
Go figure the Rangers finally get the #1 pick and they draft a clown show.
Pecca dresses like he’s still in Buffalo …it’s September
Oh, well… booby prize.
AI Stan Fischler
Fox not will sleep well tonight after pretty shameful game…
Barf
What does Perimeterejad do these days other than take the Ovie one-timer on the PP? He’s such a dog out there.
AI Chico Resch
DJ still at the Disco. Too bad we can’t replace the DJ, Krusty, and Busto.
Was at game
Between first 2 periods some kid in kids game really blasted another kid
The hittee was wobbly after he took some time to get up – with assistance
Trade Laffy. He’s the Zach Wilson of the NHL.
Lafreniere is about as exciting as wet sand.
The whole Letter thing was the right call and set them up with a bunch of high draft picks…. Most of which were duds.
Slow your rolls. Trust the process
Man I just need some positivity.
I’m gonna hide back in the weeds until I get some…. Don’t wanna spread bad energy around here. 🙁
I am waiting for the regular season to get discouraged. There’s no hurry. One not great sign is it doesn’t appear that LAF used the Summer to up his game. Busto may apply more than we want to admit.
Same stuff, from the same people,😴
Admiral
I just may start going out more, again. I know what you mean. I am so used to disappointment with this bunch of Sidewinders. Enough negative comments for a while we all know what’s behind the curtain.
End of Larry’s article
“6. If Ross Johnston has been able to spend six seasons on the Islanders roster while playing a career total of 134 NHL games, surely there is a future on Broadway for Matt Rempe.”
I would say I think the big man skates pretty well for his size and shows toughness that we always wanted from boyle
Also, his puck handling and drive to the net is reasonable
Keep in system.
I think gustaffson has cemented the #6 roll with his play
He has the puck skills of Jones but is much more experienced and confident with picking his spots. Coach will trust him
Brodzinky can skate well but he has AHL hands and he misses some defensive assignments
Time to cut
Larry on Laffy
“Lafreniere has gotten strong enough so that he was able to more than hold his own in a down-low, one-on-one battle drill with Chris Kreider at camp over the weekend.”
Outlined the workouts a bit that some of us assumed he was doing over the summer. But social media warriors questioned cause he wasn’t trying to be InstaFamous posting his workouts.
3 pre-season games in…this is the kind of patience I was talking about!
Starting to think Cullye isnt such a long shot for making this team
For Cuylle to make the team, either Vesey, or Pitlick would become the 13th forward, be traded, or waived. Not against that, just pointing out what would have to happen.
Preface. I like Goodrow
But with his cap, would you consider trading him as a casualty and cuylle taking his role?
Or we need more Goodrow for playoff run not less
If we can bring in a younger more physical winger than you waive Pitlick
Like Goodrow but I don’t see how they can move his contract…maybe at deadline
Kreider has never struck me as especially strong for his size but if Larry says so, ok.
This the last time I am going to say this. Kreider is not the same physical player since his blood clot and surgery.
You can say THAT again!
Kreider is also no longer 22 years old. He picks his spots. He’s not going to be the wrecking ball he was when he was younger. You won’t get 80 games of him if he tried to play that way.
not that I disagree on the getting 80 games of him if he played that way, when exactly was Kreider a wrecking ball?
Physical player and wrecking ball not the same thing.
In Kreider early years, how many times was he thrown out of games for blasting people. Happened at least a half dozen times. He played on the edge physically.
Wrecking ball.
Am I the only one who finds these “Laffy” and “Laf” nicknames laughable and cringey?
Laffy: “I know how I go about my work in the offseason. I work out at least five days a week. I don’t put my focus on what the Minx says about that.”
BDL I know twice would be a big ask but could we see that Kreider once a month please?
Is dry sand more exciting?
Fine Beezle, once a month, but that’s it!
Gravy
Have you ever had dry sand in your shoes? It’s easy to shake it out. Wet sand, not so much.
Beezle
Yes he is. I’m watching you Busto!
Would prefer THE win his wall battles than fly around out of position to make big hits that don’t have the impact most believe it does.
Concerning trend of losing possession on wall is an emerging challenge esp because Meeka is adverse to the wall. Makes Laffy or Kakko a good style fit for their RW imho.
Wheeler has looked steady and smart with a big frame, Otter will be a fan fav after getting 1/2 season in Hartford
I appreciate sand, just not excited by it 🙂
Incoming TB cap circumvention 23-24:
The Lightning received news the Andrei Vasilevskiy will miss the first two months of the season after undergoing back surgery.

Today’s list is: Belzile, Blidh, Elson, Emberson, Mackey, Nash (NYR)

“My No. 1 takeaway: Jonny Brodzinski has emerged as the clear favorite to win the 13F job.
The New York Rangers game tonight against the New York Islanders at UBS Arena has been postponed due to flooding and the state of emergency declared by New York state. The game will be rescheduled tomorrow, Saturday, September 30, at 7:00 PM at UBS Arena.
Vince may be right, it makes sense, but it could also mean that Cuylle is one the 12 forwards, and Pitlick, or Vesey is 13.
New York Rangers
@NYRangers
#NYR transactions:
Brouillard, Henriksson, Korczak and Trivigno have been assigned to
@WolfPackAHL
.
Blake Hillman has been released from his PTO and will report to Hartford training camp.
Adam Clendening has been released from his PTO.
Trivigno, LOL. Remember when Vince had him on the 3rd line because Trivigno dominated a bunch of 18 year old kids.
Bro Dude. I just don’t see him being more than a tweener. Like kris Newbury
Not that I won’t root for him to reach the next level in his play
Kreider perennially known throught the league for his strength and conditioning. His work with prentice etc. not sure how that’s now coming into question
Do we need the video of him jumping out of the pool again? Or smashing Mika’s iPad?
small sample but I thought Emberson looked good …..definitely more mobile than Harpur
i’d like to keep harpur as 7th d and trade jones (for 3rd?)
we saw Brodzinski last year…think Pitlick makes more sense as extra center/forward
i think pitlick will be on 4th line
A casserole a good dish to bring to a Pitlick.
Pitlick is real fast. Rangers need Fast lol!
No go time tonight. The fishticks took on too much water

Connecting dots, it looks like this could be the game group:
F- Panarin, Zibanejad, Lafrenière, Trocheck, Vesey, Goodrow, Pitlick, Othmann, Cuylle, Brodzinski, Edstrom and Rempe
D- Trouba, Lindgren, Schneider, Harpur, Hollowell and Robertson
G- Quick and Garand

Is Chytil’s face still hurting him or is this a new “upper body injury?”
Need Cullye to make squad and play 3rd line ..forward group looks soft overall

SJ claims Ty Emberson from NYR
coach q and a
I like this coach
Nice to hear balance
Work hard but also work on skill sessions that aren’t overtaxing so your body can heal but you can still individual get better and sharper.
If torts is one side of the pendulum and AV is the other. Lavi seems to be between those two.
