Rangers watching again, the lifetime continues. On a positive note, it will end some day.
What ends, the Rangers losing or my lifetime?
2-2 after 2…
Yawn.
Mid Summer crowd on here tonight. I wonder if correlates to the ratings. Vegas is the smallest TV market in pro sports.
ORF,
Fanbase – different than TV market as OKC, Jacksonville, Buffalo, New Orleans, Green Bay…are all smaller TV markets than Vegas. Onward!
Looked like a high stick ..spin the wheel
Definitely high stick. Bob’s not looking good tonight. Rest did not work well for the Panthers tonight.
I’m glad they nailed Tkachuk for that punch. Too many times the refs “let it go” late in the third.
‘Tradition, Tradition!
Bob looked a lot like Bob last night.
It’s funny, I’m rooting for Cats but it didn’t bother me at all that they lost. I guess I’m a Ranger fan for life…….time!
That game was awful.
On a positive note, there were over 10,000 fans in the Sunrise arena for the watch party. Great crowd too. More people than were there for games during their earlier mid-season slump.
Tkachuk is a helluva player….but a punk
Didn’t have the laptop last night so couldn’t comment.
The biggest thing I learned was that Hank is still pretty!
Olga: I asked the internet tarot “What ends, the Rangers losing or Olga’s lifetime?” The result was:
Eight of Cups
In the Future position
Meaning: Turning away. Giving up. Finding that something or someone was not a healthy influence. River run dry. Choosing to sacrifice in order to make a clean break and start afresh elsewhere. Abandoning a dream. Changing directions. The dawn of something new. A quest with heart. Bravery. Heeding the call.
Perhaps it is just suggesting that you become a full time Chicago fan. Or switch to the Devils? 🙂
Bobbyo Bennet looks like an even bigger punk. Should get a game off as well.
Maybe Panarin is going to run the team, he does anyway.
Buttman got what he pursued with his thumb on the scale – equity. He also got ennui and no audience.
Sunday Morning Sidewalks.
coos
I must admit you stumped on that one.
If we had a punk and not a Panarin Rangers may still be playing hockey right now
James
Indeed!
I have a punk squad list..goes Bertuzzi, Domi, Ritchie and Accari. Easier to do than the naysayers who manage the cap around here May think
Accari seems like be best positional fit as 4C and easiest to fit under said cap. Bertuzzi is gonna get overpaid I think and Domi slightly less, but like him more of the two. Never paid much attention to Ritchie, but sure he is obtainable from Calgary (if we sent back salary like vesey?)
I wanted Accari at the deadline instead we got citizen Kane.
couldn’t sell Accari jerseys at team store tho Eli!
old Kristofferson song, Eli. Tried to u-tube it here but couldn’t.
Not for nuttin, but Richie Rich in real early on UnTuckIt which boomed. I’m counting his money. Captain Kirk, Paul Newman, Georg4e Foreman all made more $ on ancillaries than they ever did via their professions.
Cable News cashing in on this banal, errant Cessna like it was WWIII.
Pete
Excellent point, what was I thinking? Apparently I wasn’t.
a punk is a punk,,,that doesnt mean they couldnt use one
The better Ritchie is in AZ now, Pete. There was a brother swap after a TO salary dump.
As for the other guys it is what it is and what it is seems more realistic and effective to me then trying to keep Kane in the mix or hoping for a Tarasenko discount (he’s going to be an islander just to torture you guys)
At the end of the day they’re not giving up on Kakko or Lafy and I don’t see them playing bottom 6 roles with a new coach here. It pushes a lot into place for at least a season. Leaves blueline decisions to be made though.
Another option of course is to commit to cap hell and veteran leaders go get ROR to stick between Zibby and Trocheck down the middle. Still leaves you needing a 4C but it’s a massive upgrade to the defensive capabilities up front. Could still manage something like Bugdstat and maybe wiggle in a Ritchie or similar
Meanwhile, Patrick Roy and his Quebec Remparts win the Memorial Cup. Let the rumors begin.
think they are gonna only be able to add pieces on the margins James unless they trade multiple players off current roster (ie 2 or more of Chytil, Goodrow, Lindgren) and even then a free agent like Tarasenko or ROR is noted realistic or smart. Wouldn’t want him back, but if Kane took a small deal closer to the deadline i could see rangers stupidly remaining interested
Drury is waiting for something. We will find out if it Patty Roy or someone on the Kats or Showers staffs. I assume he wants to get this out of the way to concentrate on the draft and signing his RFAs.
Very much like the tough, sandpaper type players. Not fan of punks who sucker punch or jump in well after the altercation is over.
Friedman still thinks it’s laviolette, or Hynes.
Quenneville meeting with Bettman after finals
Seems like Drury is treading water in the open seas without a life jacket.
Quenneville is the gonna save him
Sea of fools is all I see
Hynes makes no sense
I’d be ok with any of :
Quenneville
Roy
Knoblauch
I’m for Hynes. The Rangers may Ketchup to the Cup with him behind the bench. No tomatoes please!

March, 1872. ‘Mr. Heinz, people are complaining about difficulty in getting the ketchup out of the bottle.’ Heinz: ‘Eff them.’
Ducks have hired a coach. Someone named Cronin.
Cronin, who coached the Colorado Avalanche’s AHL affiliate, will be an NHL head coach for the first time. The 60-year-old Cronin spent five years with the Colorado Eagles and guided the team to the playoffs four times. Previously, he coached the New York Islanders’ AHL affiliate in Bridgeport.
Per Good Golly Miss Mollie:
If Roy couldn’t get along with Joe Sakic, why would Drury be interested?
Has anyone EVER hired a direct underling with whom they knew they could not get along? EVER? ANYWHERE?
cooscoos
neil smith with keenan
probably pushed from above
I read a little Panarin bashing on here …
Makes no sense
Coaches I want:
Roy
Quinville
Messier
Sutter
ZzZz GL
You can’t always get what you want.
First NHL female head coach – when will it happen? And who?
