NY Rangers (10-7-2) vs Detroit Red Wings (10-7-1)

Fresh off an exciting road win over CBJ last night, the Rangers will try to knock off the Detroit Red Wings at MSG. Once again, New York meets a team with a near identical record, though Detroit has cooled since their quick start, 5-4-1 in the last ten with the last a loss to BUF in OT last night (and four games back to the NYR). The Rangers remain hot, 7-3-0 and looking for their first four game win streak since early last season.
Quick (3-1-0, 1.26 GAA, 0.950 SV%) should be starting this back to back and indications are his opponent will be former NYR Cam Talbot (6-2-0, 2.93 GAA, 0.892 SV%). The team also announced a move this morning, sending Perreault back to Hartford while calling up Morrow as Borgen looks to be a little more banged up than first thought (he missed the game last night after skating in the warmup). Think it likely that Morrow will get the nod over Robertson tonight but 🤷♂️ Likewise, open question of Brodzinski or Parssinen playing in for the departing Perreault. Likely scratched for Detroit are James van Riemsdyk, Elmer Soderblom and Travis Hamonic. Neither team held a morning skate, no organ player was available to provide music.
The refs tonight are a mystery at this time.
