I’m thankful that those two NHL referees snapped the Devils 13 game win streak last night.
Three disallowed NJ goals in one game!
Keep in mind too that they aren’t going to keep getting a goal a game from the Handyman at the blueline. Every other would be nice though 😉
Bad games happen but of the two, Selman Hayek seems the more reliable defender. Outside complete turnaround in his next two games would not be surprised to see Drury move Jones in the next couple of weeks.
And all of them were illegal.

3rd line should be
Kreider Trocheck Krakko. Of the rest of the forwards maybe keep Laffo-Busto, but I’m not convinced he will amout to anything either. I suppose I could live with Goodrow on the 4th line. Defense only Fox, Lindgren and Schneider are worth keeping. Signing Krusty was a bad decision. Team and organization is a clown show 🤡. Prove me wrong I’ll wait?

Last two games are a perfect example of ” Puck Luck” Should not have won in LA and should have won last night.
Team as constructed will not go far. It’s a shame that the team we finished last year could have not stayed together. Pretty good balance and you just had the feeling they could always win the game. That feeling and team are both gone.

Happy Thanksgiving Boneheads. Thanks ILB and all of the mods who keep this place going. Due to work schedules we are celebrating tomorrow. Today I plan to sit around, watch TV and drain a wine bottle or two. Of course, I should have done that before heading to Halak University last night. All I could do was face plant while everyone around me cracked up.

They’re the tough guys on this clear cut impending dynasty roster that’s been hampered by slow guys who suck and defensemen who play defense instead of “making goals”.

I suspect the reason they are not playing Kravtsov is because are trying to trade him, and they don’t want him to get hurt.

Lindgren is, and has been a logical player to trade. Now that they have traded Reeves, trading Lindgren can wait till the summer. It’s happening though.
DOnt see Drury trading “the hard to play against guys” especially at that cap hit

BDL the better move would be to extend him for at least the last year of his RFA status. Buys time to also see what exactly happens with the overall cap two years from now.
Many people expect it to rise significantly plus Kreider and Trouba will start their M-NMC period that same season.
Finally, they have until start of 25/26 to move Fox without any encumbrances.
Don’t think there is any need to rush to move Lindgren especially considering likely replacement cost won’t be much different.
