Difference might be as My man Pete just mentioned was that minn provably would have taken Miller at #23. So trading him Toronto wouldn’t have been enough if Miller was targeted. Minn went off the board and Fenton looked defensive in his interview with mrs. tappen. Maybe Miller was their guy and Gorton swooped in. So if he becomes a big player, that’s a major feather in Horton’s cap. Targeting the kid, but knowing they had to get in front of minn to take him and getting it done
